Outro Lear – uma releitura contemporânea da tragédia de Shakespeare
O espetáculo Outro Lear, criação de Roni Sousa e interpretação de Humberto Pendrancini, apresenta uma poderosa releitura da tragédia clássica de Shakespeare a partir de uma perspetiva atual e profundamente humana.
Entre o delírio e a lucidez, Outro Lear propõe uma imersão no universo interior de um rei que, ao perder o poder e a razão, revela as suas fragilidades mais íntimas.
A peça questiona as fronteiras entre poder, velhice e sanidade, conduzindo o público a uma reflexão sobre o colapso de sistemas — políticos e pessoais — e sobre a inevitável vulnerabilidade da condição humana.
Com uma encenação minimalista e intensa, a montagem desloca o foco da narrativa clássica para o homem por trás da coroa: um Lear despojado, contemporâneo, que revisita os seus fantasmas num espaço entre a memória e a ruína.
O resultado é um espetáculo poético e visceral, que une força interpretativa e precisão estética.
Sobre os criadores
Roni Sousa é mestre em Artes Cénicas pela Universidade Nova de Lisboa, criador e encenador com trajetória marcada pela pesquisa de linguagens híbridas entre teatro, cinema e performance.
Humberto Pendrancini, referência do teatro brasiliense, dá corpo e voz a este Lear reinventado, num trabalho de grande densidade emocional e rigor técnico.
