What is Musique de Fête ??
Musique de Fête is a collective brought to you by the french label Nowadays Records and the producer KasbaH. It puts the spotlight on the new electronic eastern scene with a series of mixtapes and parties in Europe and Maghreb, starting in Portugal inside Na Esquina ! Its keywords? Partying, Dancing, Caring, Sharing and Celebrating!
Musique de Fête brings together many different artists, such as Bachar Mar Khalifé, Kabylie Minogue, Taxi Kebab, Bab, Retro Cassetta. It’s a music full of childhood memories, family reunions, eastern roots, experiences and dreams. More than a vibe, it’s a state of mind that they all share in this project !

NA ESQUINA’s ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP : 3€/year - As an association, it is now mandatory to become one of our member to access our events ! You can get your annual membership card at the entrance of the venue
TABLE BOOKING SYSTEM : In order to follow DGS rules about social distancing, and to guarantee our minimum capacity for this event, you'll need to book a table and make a group purchase. We have tables for 2, 4 and 6 and the number of seats can't be altered.

BAB (Pardonnez-nous) -
Co-founder of the famous french collective Pardonnez-nous, Bab is also member of the electronic music band 404. More recently, he distinguished his style with different labels such as Crowdspacer, Macadam Mambo, Hard Fist ou Afrobotic Musicology.
A music based on ethnographic recordings, sampled with actual sonorities that offers a new contemporary vision on this heritage. To accompany this music, he builds a cinematic universe through videoclips illustrating his last compositions. These videos are made in the same approach than his music producing process, mixing different analogic mediums (8mm, analog film) with digital effects.

If the name "KasbaH" brings back to its North African origins, it is that Nadir proudly takes up the definition of "citadel". By placing itself at the crossroads of cultures, his music offers a wider panorama of the world. Pigments, his first EP released in 2017, already expressed a desire for openness, a unique personality, and especially the alliance of traditional sounds of the world and western electronic cultures. After years of underground culture, KasbaH filled his sound travel diaries with ink, sounds captured in nature, testimonies or melodies recorded on the fly. Nadir came back with the desire to restore them and to dedicate their marriage to club culture.
