The Twist Connection es un demoledor powertrío de curtidos músicos de Coimbra liderado por Carlos Mendes (Tédio Boys, Wray Gunn, Bunnyranch, Parkinsons) junto a Samuel Silva (Jack Shits y Los Saguaros) y Pedro Chau (Parkinsons, Ghost Hunt). El encuentro de estas tres fuerzas hace estallar de manera descarnada todas las conexiones con el Blues, Garage, Soul, Punk, Psych y el R&R más incendiario.
Ganadores del premio a la mejor banda portuguesa de 2019 en los Premios Nacionales de la Música y las Artes, The Twist Connection han pisado a lo largo de estos 10 años innumerables escenarios, desde clubs de rock underground hasta festivales de mayor envergadura, asumiéndose como una banda que vive de la dinámica y la interacción con el público. Además de haber girado por todo el territorio portugués, ya han estado presentes en Francia, Inglaterra y, principalmente, en España!
