Depois de duas edições de grande sucesso, a iniciativa do Ipatimup “Tratar o cancro por tu” volta a saltar os muros da ciência e dos laboratórios para percorrer o país, indo ao encontro da população. Neste novo ciclo de sessões presenciais sobre literacia de cancro, o objetivo é debater os avanços científicos e as terapias mais recentes, simplificar conceitos, alertar para a necessidade do diagnóstico precoce e da prevenção e colocar os doentes no centro da discussão.
Em 2024, entre janeiro e abril, os cientistas do Ipatimup e alguns dos melhores especialistas locais estarão em seis cidades – Porto, Aveiro, Funchal, Covilhã, Braga e Faro - para falar sobre cancros da próstata, mama, cólon, tumores endócrinos, cancro do pulmão e tumores pediátricos.
